The GEOS public outreach team believes in taking a grassroots organizing and public education approach to building community support for proposed wind farm developments. Many individuals when armed with the facts about wind energy technology and the environmental and economic benefits will understand its value and withdraw their opposition. Our outreach campaigns are designed to inform local decision-makers, identify project champions, and tap into the silent majority of community supporters. Our work is cost-effective, personal, and non-confrontational. We believe early public involvement will lead to successful projects where everyone benefits.
