Steve SullivanSteven C. Sullivan is co-founder of GEOS Global with an extensive history of providing public relations counsel and services to energy companies. Steve provides strategic planning and media consultation with a keen sense of messaging and an eye for graphic design that allows the general public to understand complex and technical issues. 

Steve has worked with many leading national energy organizations. Previously,Sullivan served as Director of Communications for the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO), the organization charged with maintaining New York state's high-voltage electric system and administering the state's electricity markets. Prior to joining the NYISO, Sullivan was the Director of Communications for the Independent Power Producers of New York (IPPNY). He formed his consulting business, Power Communications in 2003

Marion Trieste (GEOS Global, LLC, Managing Director)

Marion TriesteMarion Trieste is co-founder of GEOS Global, with a national reputation of forming partnerships among the various stakeholders affected by environmental decisions. Marion provides high quality strategic planning to help organize community members through education, media mobilization, and public relations.

Marion has over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing meaningful public involvement programs, as well as a national reputation as a specialist in public participation for the federal Toxic Waste Superfund program. Prior to forming her consulting business (Trieste Associates, Inc) in 1998, Marion served as the NE Regional Representative to the Sierra Club.

Larisa Romanowski - Project Manager

Larisa RomanowskiLarisa Romanowski joined GEOS in May 2007 as a Project Manager. Larisa works with GEOS clients across New York and offers a unique perspective drawing on her relationships with environmental leaders, renewable energy advocates and developers, as well as her understanding of the relevant legislative and regulatory policies affecting renewable energy development in New York today.

Before joining GEOS, Larisa was a Program Associate for Environmental Advocates of New York where she lobbied for sensible and effective environmental and energy policies in the State.

Chelsea Horn - Media Outreach and Office Administrator

Chelsea HornChelsea has worked with community groups across New York State for over a decade. Community service, media relations and public event planning are her strengths. Chelsea Horn is a graduate of LeMoyne College and holds a BA degree in Political Science.

 

 

Tom Collins - Energy Project Strategy and Media

Tom CollinsThomas Collins, brings more than 25 years of experience in the public sector communications, most recently serving as Director of Communications for the nationally-renowned New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) from 1995-2006. Tom was a member of the Authority's Senior Management Team, and was responsible for directing the Authority's communications and marketing activities.

Prior to working for NYSERDA, Tom spent 15 years in the New York State Legislature serving as a special assistant for both the Minority Leader in the State Assembly, and as an assistant to the Majority Leader in the State Senate

Sharon Leighton - Outreach Specialist

Sharon LeightonSharon Leighton is a community relations expert with demonstrated success in establishing strategic support from a wide range of stakeholders.  Ms Leighton brings to GEOS clients over twenty years of project management experience in the public sector.  She has administered programs covering a diverse array of complex local and regional projects, working with federal, state, and local officials to resolve issues ranging from regulatory and financing hurdles to identifying and expanding target user groups.  She has a statewide reputation for building partnerships among diverse constituencies to ensure public acceptance and long term project success.
